When I was asked a while back by Warren if I was available to be there to capture his rustic country wedding at Preston Court in Canterbury Kent back on the 3rd October 2014, of course my answer was to be YES!
We have history as friends, we served together back in Afghanistan in 2009 when during an encounter with the enemy during a daylight operation that we we’re both participating on, he was injured. During the encounter with the enemy a small engagement pursued and during this, Warren was shot and injured, he was treated and recovered back to the UK with injuries to his lower limbs. Over the years since, he has been battling the injuries he sustained in Afghanistan, but he was determined to be there and marry the beautiful Katie who has been by his side throughout.
So this wedding had extra meaning for me, Warren and his stunning bride to be Katie, and what a day it was. The sun was shining, the weather was perfect and to those that were invited, their closest and trusted friends, it was a day to remember for all and hopefully captured all their love that they have for each other.
To Katie & Warren I wish you both many many years of love and happiness together, because if two people deserve it, then it’s you two. Thank you for allowing me and Victoria Tyrrell (Big thanks also to Vikki for second shooting for me yet again, your a star) to be there to capture your perfect wedding day, and for all the laughs, drinks and fish and chips!
